So today was movie day. We watched the brand new movie from japan, Origin: Spirits Of The Past. Can't wait to read your thoughts on this baby.
And to finish of the meeting, it was Kino's Journey episode 7, the second part of the two-parter. Did you like the longer story, or do you prefer the 1 parter's?

It was so cool as 2 parter it made the wait for anime club even worse!!!!!! (in a good way=>)

i think they are pwetty coool as 2 parters but if they were all 2 parters then the week were we have to wait for part 2 will be unbearable + if they were all 2 parters there would be to much action!!!! => => => =>
I think it was a terrific looking movie. It reminded me of Miyazaki movies, but I like those, so thats a good thing.
Origin - Spirits of The Past
To start with the artwork was awesome and a great song but the plot was slightly confusing until much later on in the story when everything tied together. The forrest was strange you think its completly bad until basically the end where new humans are born. Also to start with when you meet the other person from the 'past' you think his idea to return the world to normal could actually be done and you feel like you should be on his side to but then his totally EVIL!!!...
Kinos Journey
Such a cool episode (I wan't that DOG!!) the fights the death the action the humour the story line the art its all just so GREAT!!
Question
As alex said it was good as a two parter but I don't think all of them could be like that. Kinos Journey is a very fast paced storyline and spending more than one episode in a place loads would defeat the whole object in my point of view.
